Information for Authorities and Law Enforcement Agencies
Wickie.io processes requests from law enforcement agencies from all jurisdictions in accordance with our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and the applicable legal requirements.

Please direct all legally based requests exclusively to: legal@wickie.io

All requests will be treated with the highest priority by our team. If you do not receive a response, please check your spam or junk folder. For international cases, please provide references to applicable international mutual legal assistance treaties (e.g. MLAT), if any.

Information required for processing

In order to process your request, we require the following information and documents:

• an official email address of a state or official domain
• proof of your identity and authorisation (e.g. service card, accreditation or similar)
• a legally binding order, e.g. in the form of a signed court order or an official letter from the investigating authority

The request should include the following information:

• Name and location of the investigating authority, including information on the legal basis of the request (including court jurisdiction)
• Official contact details of the person making the request (email and, if applicable, telephone number)
• A description of the facts, including:
  • Description of the alleged incident
  • Relevant wallet addresses and transaction IDs (TXIDs) including token types, amounts and affected blockchains
  • If possible: total amount (in tokens and USD), as well as a breakdown for traceability
  • Previous investigation results, including information on the allegedly damaged and accused person
  • If known: User ID, registered email address, phone number, name or ID data of the affected Wickie.io user

Please also send all transaction data in an editable format (e.g. Word or PDF with copyable text).

Note: Requests must be written in English, also attachments.

Confidentiality and account suspensions

If your request requires a temporary suspension of an account, please explicitly state this. Wickie.io will not notify affected individuals of the suspension as long as this is legally permissible or explicitly requested. However, in certain cases, we may ask for your consent to forward a formal notification to the affected individual, especially if a longer suspension is involved.

In this case, please also let us know whether we can forward your contact details to the data subject so that they can contact you directly as part of the investigation.
